Comment:

I loved Ms. Yost. She can go off topic during lecture but her stories are always interesting. Her notes from the book store do come in handy. I didn't use my book the whole semester just the notes and I passed every test. She also gave out extra credit and most of those were fairly easy.

I had a wonderful time being in her class for history. It's easier to understand and pay attention to a teacher that loves what they do and is very knowledgeable on history. She stands up there in front of the class and lectures the entire time while we have our notes she made for her class. Its Exactly what she tests on. Great professor

This class was 100% lecture. There was no group discussion at all and the notes were very hard to follow. She did not stick to one subject when she was speaking and often went off on unrelated topics. Her note packet she gives was not organized very well and if you miss a class you can count of failing that quiz.

Ms. Yost is such a sweet, caring person! She really loves history, and you it creates an atmosphere. She likes to teach with stories that make historical figures come to life. The tests and quizzes are relatively easy, and she will work with you to help you get the most out of her class.

I liked her at first. I loved the way she taught like it was a story, it made it easy. Not far into the class, things changed. It is easy to pass her class, but you do not really learn. She tells stories about people in history more than she teacher. Nice. 2 book reviews. easy. Mid term and final are HARD. too much writing. quizes. 10 questions.

I had Ms. Yost for history last semester. I can honestly say that I will never forget her. She made history fun. It is quite obvious that it is her passion. She is such a sweet lady. If they would let me, I would attend her class again just to hear her teach! Thank you Ms. Yost, your the best!

Wonderful Professor! I absolutely love Miss Yost. Teaching history is her absolute passion, you will never forget her. She taught my parents, and myself in highschool, she's even more fabulous in college. She has high standards which I love and wants nothing but success for her students. You will be well informed if you pay attention! A++++ teacher

One of those prof you never forget! She knows so much and she somehow gets full attention of everyone in the class. I had never before actually paid so much attention to a history class. Fun, engaging and very informative. You have to work hard, which is good. I like challenging professors. Simply love her!!

Material wasnt interesting but she is the first history professor to make it seem ok. Need to come to class and study for tests but doesnt require much more than that. book reports are super easy.

The class was fairly hard, I took a night class and it was fairly boring. I never once used my book and I passed with an A. She tells great stories but when it comes down to it, if you're looking for an easy ride through history this is not the teacher for you.

I didn't care for this class mainly because of the topic but Yost did make it a little better than I thought it would be. She really knows her history and is excited about it. The lecutre is boring but the stories are great. Test are a little on the hard side, make sure you take good notes, most test questions are from lecture.
