She's a great teacher! Attendance is optional but the class is pretty captivating even if you're not an english major. The stories we read are very fun and she tells you exactly what to study for the midterms. She brings in guest writers from around OSU who are really amazing as well. Take this class!

She is a great prof. I really enjoy her passion for the topic. She focuses on discussion in classes rather than lecturing which makes what might otherwise be a boring class far more interesting. There is a lot of writing, but she is genuinely interested in your opinions in the writing.

Dr. Ede is the best English teacher I have had since high school. You won't find a nicer teacher who is so ready to discuss with you things both class related and general.She also takes the time to get to know each student individually.Her class discussions are fun, regardless of the texts you need to read for class. Be active and you'll be noticed

Not only does she take the time to discuss what's been read thoroughly, but she accepts all comments without saying anyone's view is totally incorrect. She almost makes me wish I was an English major just so I could take more classes with her.
