Bruce is so passionate! Love taking his classes and everyone warned me how difficult Soils was and they were wrong! Easiest class I took this semester. Clear instructions and answers all questions. Quizzes are every week so be prepared, minimal homework so don't sweat it. Labs are fun! I would recommend Bruce to everyone and anyone!

Bruce is Awesome! I took his World Foods and Hunger class. you have to attend for lectures but you will want to be there! he is very passionate about his classes, and knows what he is talking about. Defiantly take one of his classes if you can!

Nice guy and obviously knowledgeable about the Ag field. Just don't take his World Food and Hunger class because that is not his subject and it's pathetic. He needs to stick to plants, he doesn't have any insight into a single social issue. If you actually care about world hunger as an issue, don't waste your time in this class.

Awsome!I was scared to take his class, 'cuz I heard he's strict, but he's anything but! The guy is an act! There wasn't a single day in that class I didn't laugh. He likes to pick on his students, but that's what makes it fun. And he's really passionate about his subject. I just don't like when he only focuses on certain people and ignores others.

All I have to say about Bruce is that he is a really good instructor. He knows how to make the class interesting and grab students attention instead of just lecturing and lecturing which makes the class boring and yourself sleepy. He may pick on you once in a while but does in a jokingly yet educational manner. You will not be disappointed.

Bruce is one of my all time favorites at Butte College. He is a nice guy and a great instructor! I looked forward to every class and was highly disappointed when I became ill and ended up in the Hospital. Bruce came to visit me!!! I missed quite a few classes, but still managed to get a B, with Bruces help.

im not even an AG student and i want to take more of his classes because he teaches really good. Assignments are easy and tests are pretty much from the study guides and usually common sense. Makes the class interseting and he makes jokes and picks on students in a good way and makes the whole class laugh take this teacher you will not regret it

Bruce is pretty laid back. He has clear knowledge of the subject and a lot of passion for it. He is very helpful when you go to his office hours and tries to keep things interesting. I did find his labs to be stressful. Felt like we were basically on our own. It always comes together at the end, but..... I would take this instructor again.

I recommend Bruce. He can be a little moody, but willing to answer questions and explain more. He is very helpful and labs are fun. He cares about his class, has good field trips, and stresses safety in labs. I cant wait to take his classes again. Easy to talk to, easy to understand.

Very Knowledgable in many Ag Business Classes especially Soils! Not of industry standards when it comes to Floriculture! Generally interesting!
