wow this was a hard class. don't take it unless you want a challenge or are really interested in biomedical ethics. the course was interesting and although it was hard I'm glad I took the class. there were some really interesting debates. she's from canada and doesn't care much for the american way :)

A big zero as a teacher. Bitter and resentful. Mocks and hates the USA. Shows contempt for students. Fancies herself a big radical but is boring, dull, and simple. Somebody should clue her into the real world. What a dope.

She ruined philosophy for me. What an unfriendly, mean, self-absorbed, vindictive, America-hating woman. It was difficult to follow her because she was so distracted by her hatred of Chico State Students. I heard she might go to Canada. Good riddance.

She's really helpful, but her class was really boring. I don't even think I learned anything. only writing none-sense papers and Oh man the test are all essay questions. It's really tough, but she's a great person.

She was very helpful, but you had to ask. As far as in class exams, they were extremely hard. Ridiculously hard, she expect students to know a million things and there was never enough time to write everything, even if you did know it all.

this class was HORRIBLE! it is a ridiculous amount of reading. it's just a GE course, but she expects you to perform as if you were a PHIL major. in her office hours, she is very helpful though. i would not reccommend this class if you're taking it for GE

I'd rather jab a fork in my eye**** than have to take this horrible subject. But she does an EXCELLENT job teaching an otherwise boring subject. Quality instruction, definately better than average professor. Has high expectations for students.

Is only mad when student's DON'T read the assignments. Makes you work very hard. The readings are pretty boring, and I hate presentations!!! Prompt on answering emails. Assumes knowledge of philosophy jargon. VERY high expectations.

For just a GE class she expects her students to dedicate a huge amount of time to only a 3 unit class. The readings are very LONG and hard to understand. If you have a choice don't take the class if not (like me) find a group of people to work with.
