would give homeworks and expect students to know the material without teaching it. Gave use to 2 big homework the last couple weeks of class right during finals and even gave a huge hw project due after finals. Flew through the material

Professor Lancor is amazing! She really cares that you understand Python and she slows down or goes fast depending on the pace of the class. She really listens and appreciates feedback, which I rarely see in other professors. I struggled as an English major, but decided to stick with Computer Science as a minor because of Prof Lancor!

Lisa was by far the best professor I could have gotten for programming. Course is hard but she makes it fun and is very helpful. I would definitely say the book is little "required", however it does help a lot if CSC is to be your major I recommend buying rather than renting.

Lisa is a great professor. She is very knowledgable. To pass this class, just do the labs, and homework assignments. Tests can be hard, but if you study you should be fine. The final project is fun, DO IT. Pick a cool topic and then have fun. She is helpful with ideas, but doesn't help much in the labs. Recommend highly.

Hands down the best professor in the Computer Science Department at SouthernCT. Extremely understanding and helpful. CSC 424 is one of the most useful classes to have under your belt. The tests can be challenging but Dr. Lancor knows when you're trying and doesn't completely mark questions wrong when she knows you're on the right track

Easily one of the best teachers SCSU's Computer Science program has to offer. This professor is very enthusiastic about the course material and creates a liveliness in class. She is very helpful if you have any problems, is knowledgeable about the courses she teaches, and is very good to keep in contact with. A+ Professor!!

I feel the exact same way as the user below me, down to the group and the slaughtering and everything. Haha. I never bought the book for this class and just got a 93 on the midterm. Attendance isn't mandatory but you'll pretty much fail if you don't go. Take the once a week night class, at least it's a little more fun and laid back.

Really nice teacher. CSC 330 is a really hard class. Hardest class I've ever taken, but really worthwhile. I kind of hate my group at this point (the class is all group work), but that willl go away once i slaughter their families. The class is hard, but the tests are easy. Be prepared to work everynight on your project.

Overall she is nice. Used to be a great teacher. Got her points across and was willing to help her students. Now that she is a full professor and has started a family only seems to show up when she has too and the amount learned and dropped dramatically.
