One of the better professors at this school. Interesting lectures but super hard to reach her outside of class. Writing assignments in every class that are easy but graded last minute. Still love her to death. Respect her but treat her like a friend and you'll do great.

Pay attention to lectures and power points and read on your own because powerpoint and lectures aren't enough. a lot of pointless assignments that she doesn't actually grade until last minute. favors students. lots of pointless hand outs. one good thing about the class is that its always entertaining and I was never really bored...

Comment:

She's a cool teacher. She played favorites so try and get on her good side or else you will most likely be left behind. She always had a lot on her plate. Rarely answered emails. Overall I like her. If you pay attention in class and get your stuff done you should do okay. Just make sure you keep every single hand out cause she will bring them up.

Good: Lectures are informative and engaging. She gives plenty of assignments and homework. Tests are easy. The Final is True and False Bad: Not easy to talk to about progress in the course. Doesnt grade assignments on time so you dont know your grade until the end of the semester when she finally posts to Canvas and hand stuff back to you

Lisa has all the time in the World to do volunteer stuff and stay on campus til after 10pm doing God knows what! but has no time to grade the 5,000 assignments that she hands out. For example, this semester, it took her until the last week of class to grade a 2 paragraph assignment she gave in February. You dont know youre failing until May!!!

She hands out a writing assignment or handout to answer questions in essay or pop quiz form every single class. Theres 3 tests. The final is cumulative 12 chapters all true and false! There's less than 1 week left for classes and she still has yet to grade all of our assignments. Why give out so many assignments if you wont be able to grade them?

Lisa is a great and caring professor. You must attend her class to pass! She makes her lectures interesting and when she says to read for her exams, you must read! It is very helpful. If you study, attend class, and take notes, Lisa's class is not hard. She is great.

Lisa is an outstanding professor. She makes the class fun and very interesting. She is very knowledgeable and down-to-earth. You definitely must attend the classes, but you will not regret it. Tests are tough, but if you study - you'll be just fine. Take her seriously and you will be good to go!

Lisa was an incredible professor. Her lectures are very interesting and she cares about her students. I never dreaded going to her class and I'm not one to enjoy class. She'll help you with anything you need for her course, as well as guide you in other matters. I would 100 percent take her again she was the bomb diggity. Take her!

Fun energetic classroom environment, just show up and don't piss her off and you'll get an easy A. Textbook not needed, if you watch Law and Order shows or have decent prior knowledge on criminal justice you'll fly through the class. If you don't miss a class you get +5 on your overall score at the end of the semester.

This class is very interesting and the teacher keeps you entertained. I took the FYE class for this course and she was very helpful in giving out tips and reminders to students. Her tests are straightforward, all multiple choice. also a lot of extra credit opportunity. overall, a great and easy class.
