Nice professor, but there is way too much work for a 2 credit class. You do one group project every week, and some are ridiculously time consuming. I couldn;t wait til the class was over. If you do your work, you'll definitely get an A.

you go to class and he tells you the project. then you get in groups and use ur book to find how to code the program and then present it. best program gets best grade. tip is to make urs stand out. if u ask him for help, he'll do it secretly or tell u to use the book. very nice and fun though. hard class however. got a B+

this class was very annoying with its essay type tests and 10 projects but it really grew on me as the semester went along. Erwin really is a good guy who wants everyone to do well and VB projects at the end although frustrating very rewarding and fun once you know what you are doing..

Very tough and challanging class, but at the same time very fun. I had a blast in that class. You can learn a lot from him. 10 projects in the course with a mid-term and optional final. Projects were really fun, but exams are really tough. It's ok because he grades GENEROUSLY. and you get extra points for wearing Penn State apparel!!!!

very nice guy but ok teacher (goes very fast) and horrible difficult class. If you have programming class, the class aint bad because Erwin is a good guy but if you never had this stuff before, prepare for a tough semester.

If you have no programming experience,good luck with this class and its 10 projects outside of class that are extremely time consuming and tests, that extremely difficult.His tests are all essay questions.He gives you questions where you literally have to write a part of a program in a blue book,very difficult.I passed the class with a C+,its over!
