Professor. Nalbone is very sweet and encouraging, but a strong part of me feels she would thrive more if she taught something other than Spanish. I had her in Spanish grammar and I could tell that she was thinking about each word she had to say. She's definitely not a fluent speaker and this made it very hard to learn Spanish grammar from her.

The material is hard, but is taught really, really well. She makes sure that you understand everything and provides a lot of practice material. Drops lowest grades, offers some extra credit and lots of ways to make up for one bad grade. Participation and group work.

Honestly the kindest soul at UCF. Gives plenty of chances to makeup work or get feedback to do better. Always super attentive of students and their progression. Very active and passionate about this class. She is super engaged and makes sure to clarify any confusion you may have. I've taken her twice and would take her again if I could!

The homework is long, but only due once a week so if you start early you should be fine. Other than that, she was very helpful and gave a lot of opportunities to correct tests and compositions for extra points. Definitely recommended.

Prof Nalbone is one of the best professors I've had at UCF, and I'm not sure why people are saying she's unorganized because I took her summer B and even in a fast paced class her instructions were very clear, tests were fair, and she was always very willing to help! Fun and engaging class, interesting conversations, taking her again in the fall!

She is very sweet but extremely unorganized... She is not fluent in Spanish, a lot of homework and does not have good methodology, her strategists are for children. She should tech lower levels... She does answer emails quickly... Very fustrated... Take her if you are not native because you will really bored in her class... We need better teachers!

Good person and nice but awful as a teacher. Very unorganized. A lot of homework ... I can't imagine how tests are going to be. She does not clarify anything... She does not speak spanish well... She should teach beginners but not level 3000, 4000 or 5000. Sorry, but students deserve better, more prepared teacher. Avoid her if you can!

Professor Nalbone is so sweet! She is helpful and tries to make the class interesting (though the book can be dull). You will have homework due almost every class but they're mostly about 5 questions. She is understanding and does not grade harshly. I am a native speaker and was not bothered by her accent at all, though she speaks a bit slowly.

Very sweet. Class-wise, not organized. Tedious work, inconsistent with assignments. Attendance policy is 10% of final grade. She loves what she does, but bombards with assignments which makes it very hard to learn. She is great with lower lever classes, but I recommend taking someone else if possible for any upper level course.

This class is difficult. There is a lot of material in that tiny book. You must study the chapter every week before going over it because of the quizzes (very important). The tests are cumulative. Overall an interesting class in which you will learn a lot about Spain and its history, but memorize too many useless authors.

Personality wise, she is very sweet and helpful. Course difficulty is easy, there is nearly always homework, but it is doable. Course consists of reading a page or two, and then discussion in class with your group or partner so buddy up! She appears to be a native English speaker, and she listen with a sympathetic ear.

I've taken 4 classes with her. She is genuine and highly intelligent. Her classes are always worth-while, and she goes out of her way to facilitate student learning. Her accent is very easy to understand, and she grades fairly. Read, write your papers, and participate in discussion, and you'll get an A. Get to know her. You won't be disappointed

I took the short story class and can't complain. You will have to read and do your work. Also attendance is mandatory. She is really nice and passionate about what she teaches. One of the few times I felt the money was really worth it.

Also took SPN 3760 and SPN 3234. Her classes do require you to read, and participate. She's really sweet, and really cares about facilitating your learning. Also, her accent is very easy to understand for non native speakers. Ill have taken 4 courses with her at graduation.

LOTS of reading. The quizes constitute 20% of your grade, and the tests are arduous, Im not a native speaker, but her accent is something special. You will learn major works in this class but do some outside reading on the authors for REAL clarity.

Shes terrible! If youre fluent in spn youll want to die everytime you hear her speak w/her horrible accent.shes unorganized, loses your work, messes up on grading, and is very unclear.she apparently hates her job bc every class period is wasted in watching ppl present something to the class.completely useless. waste of your time and your $.

She seemed really nice at first, but she made some comments to me that I found hurtful and insulting. I'm not sure if that was her intent, but it definitely lowered my opinion of her as a professor. She was not very organized and didn't explain the material well enough in class. I would not recommend her classes to other students.

Was a very boring class. Was all review from previous classes and I really didn't learn anything new. She is not very clear with assignments and waits until the last minute to give them to you. Is a very nice woman, but doesn't know how to teach the material. The class is so easy you are guaranteed an A.
