She is one of the best professors at SLU. She is always ready to help students out through email and meeting with her. She has a good sense of humor. She is a tough grader but gives great feedback and allows revisions. There will be a lot of mini papers to write throughout the semester and one 10-page final paper. Amazing class. Memorable professor

Comment:

One of the best professors I've ever had. You must take a class with her before graduating from SLU. Even if outside your major - do it, it's worth your time. Make sure you do your homework - she doesn't have time for people that don't work hard!

Liz Regain is the best professor on campus. Take a class with her, even if your not interested in History. Class is never boring. I crack up at least five times every class because she is so hilarious .

Liz is fantastic and you probably won't find a better professor. She certainly makes you work for your grades, but is willing to help every step of the way. There is no textbook, just novels and other various readings, such as chapters of books. Take a class with her and you won't regret it!

Liz is a great professor. She really likes to see you succeed and is willing to help anyway possible. You have to really work on her papers. She is more paper based than testing based which is nice for those who aren't good test takers. Over all I really recommend her. Her focuses in History are: African-American, Women's History & Civil War era.
