Very professional. Not willing to explain outside class and will throw you out of her office in just few minutes by giving brief overview of your questions.

The lectures are very fast paced. There are a lot of formulas taught/shown and she isn't always clear about the scope of the formulas (open/closed systems?; single/multi-class). Gives few homework assignments, but they are very long.

One of the amazing CS Professor so far. Her and Bochert are so far the best. Assignments were quite time consuming but you could get it done. Overall, it is an easy class as long as you put your time into it. Very sociable professor as well, she is willing to hear her students. Liz is the best

The best CS Teacher I have had so far. She knows the subjects she lectures on very well. Written assignments are based 60% on the lectures, 40% on the book. Exam questions were very similar to homework questions. Only a couple programming assignments (in C), and they were not too bad.

Before taking this course, I thought I would no longer learn by way of overhead projector. Lectures felt rushed and mechanical. Not much room for genuine student involvement. This course is definitely easier when taught by others.

Lectures cover a lot of good information. Tests and programming assignments are a joke if you're paying any attention in class. Homework assignments are essentially busy work. And why, why, WHY use an overhead projector, writing as you talk, six feet from the wall?? Worst possible way to present notes during lecture! Oh well...

Pretty good teacher. I'd say second best CS teacher I've had. She gives really good notes and knows her topic. However if you ask her about newer technologies or certain things outside of the scope of the class she's not very knowledgable. Very fair in grading too.

Very thorough and made sure she covered every topic in depth. Tests were very cryptic and dificult to get what she wanted. Assignments incredibly difficult, because we all had limited experience in C (as opposed to C++ or java) prior to the class.

I read the entire book the week before class started and it made the class a breeze. Unfortunately the class was too slow and there was only time for theory, nothing practical.
