Smart man, but not a good teacherinstructor. He belittles students in class and when seeking individual help and guidance, and has somewhat of a superiority complex. He really needs to focus more on his individual research where he thrives, and stay out of the classroom with students. I won't be taking another class from Dr. Crouch.

Great personality, Great researcher. Pathetic instructor and teacher. Might as well email you PowerPoint slides and tell you to read them. I lost interest in the field of Materials because of this class.

Not as bad as everyone is making him out to be. He gives you the entire semester's lectures on a cd which is nice, but he doesn't teach so much as just read off what each slide says - which is bad. Nice guy, tells some funny stories. Axes your final grade if you miss class.
