Tests are right from the notes. If you study the notes you will do fine on the test. Interesting videos. Don't buy the book for this class. I liked this class a lot more than I thought I would and its not as hard as people are saying it is but you do need to attend class to do well on the exams.

She is not easy, but what do you expect for high up classes.We don't review for tests because she tells you to know everything and she means it. You don't even need to buy the text book unless you need it for clarification. Exams are tough but if you put in the work you can do well. Very interesting class and videos too!

This class is pretty hard but the subject is interesting. Professor Leidahl is a nice woman and knows her stuff, but she expects us to memorize everything. There's 5 tests with some of the chapters we have to teach ourselves, and attendance is mandatory. It's an ok class overall, take it only if you are highly interested in the subject

I love her! She's so cute. She sounds and looks like a little bird, and ironically, that's basically what we talked about for the entire semester. The class is about other animals too, but we MAINLY talked about the habits of birds. 4 tests, none cummulative, all multiple choice. Don't buy the book, you won't need it at all,take good lecture notes.

she is the most awful professor ever- she is not helpful outside of class, she isn't clear what she wants on exams, attendance is mandatory but doesn't really count for anything... ugh! it's hard to avoid this class but if you can try try try!!!

firstly DO NOT BUY THE BOOK. her tests are on lecture only. exams are fair, and she is an excellent lecturer. lots of video clips. just dont make marks on the exam paper, or she takes off points. i recommend this teacher if you're good at memorizing.

DO NOT buy the book; tests are from lectures only; she is not very helpful and gets angry when questions are asked; the tests are m/c but don't let that fool you, she is very detailed on her exams; over all, she is overly confident in her abuility to give clear cut lectures- not a very nice or helpful professor!

Take this class if you need a stable/reliable and straight forward one. It's lecture and some videos and no discussion--just clarification on the overhead. The tests are on the notes for the most part and it isn't hard if you just review them once in a while. Other than that-- good class.

The course seems easy enough and it is actually quite interesting. Don't purchase the book because all of her exam questions come STRAIGHT from the notes. She is monotone, boring, lectures are horrible (except for the occassional movie), and her exams are all multiple choice. Don't plan on skipping class; points will be deducted from exams.

Intersting subject. BUT....BUT very hard. If you learn conceptually (Western style), DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS. If you learn by rote memorization (Eastern Style), then this class is very easy. Nothing fits together. She doesn't know how to organize her notes. She is a nice person. Don't be fooled by the extra credit. It only raises your grade by 2.4%.

Love the big shoulder pads ;) Just copy her notes and memorize everything. Don't even need to read the book it's all given to you. Tests are a little detailed. Don't ever be late or miss class. A little dry and boring but overall pretty easy.

Terrible teacher.All she does is read from her power point slides and you have to copy them all down and what she says that is not on the power point.Her tests are hard and the questions are picky and confusing. Takes off points for walking in even a second late.No personality.Try to avoid her!!

Dr. Leidahl doesn't do any research, that's why she's teaching. And no one else teaches Brain & Behavior (as far as I know) so if you wanna take this class, you're stuck with her. I liked her fine & did well in her class, but then again I stayed on her good side (she does have one).

AWFUL teacher, she should stick to research and avoid the classroom, she's very impersonal and unfriendly, would be a much better class if she WASN'T teaching it, book is much clearer than she is, her presentations and notes are not clear, take any other brainbehavior teacher but her!
