Studio Foundations is a fairly easy art class. If you follow the project expectations you will do well on the assignments. They are pretty straight forward. She gives a lot feedback during in class work time. Lois takes attendance in the class and your grade drops if you miss too many classes.

Lois is great! Studio Foundations is a great class, would definitely recommend taking it for your ARTS requirement. The class is laid back and fairly easy. Lois is very wise- she'll definitely sprinkle in some life advice along with the class material. ;) She has a warm personality, and I am very happy that I took her class!

Lois makes sure everyone finishes projects on-time and is a very laid back professor. She likes to kid around, and encourages others opinions in the class. She makes sure to give plenty of in-class time to work on projects and tends to switch the schedule around frequently. Friday's are reserved for film reviews. Overall, great prof.

Lois does not spoon feed her students. She encourages thinking for one's self and responsibility for one's own work. She gives praise when earned and will not hesitate to criticize when a student has slacked off. Be prepared to hold up your end of the bargain, grow up a little, actually DO YOUR HOMEWORK, and you will succeed in her classes.

Lois helps students learn how to think on their own. Creates interesting assignments and sets guidlines for projects. Expects students to put in a lot of time. A great class if you are interested in learning about ceramic. She can be very funny.
