Worst professor in my career at ASU. Way way too hard for a intro to geology class. Teaches as if it is a 4000 level class -- assumes you already know. Tests, homework, quizzes, "discussion points", required questions cards. Take anyone else but Raymond. Felt as if I was in a 4000 level class. Crazy hard.

This professor is very interested in helping produce profesionals. He will not spoon-feed anyone, and will not give in to grade inflation. If you are a good student and you care about learning, he's amazing and will offer plenty of extra help if you ask for it. But poor students be warned: if you don't deserve an A, you WILL NOT get one.

He is the biggest a-hole ever! i emailed him questions and not only did he not answer my q's, he was really nasty about it! he treats this class like a sophomore/junior level class, so be ready to study your butt off! it is near impossible to get an A. Good luck!
