Dr Dawson's class requires a lot of reading because every bit of the material is tested. The interactive discussion on blackboard is a way to share ideas and reflections on current topic. She has a fair grading criteria as such no cause to complain about grades.

I took psychological foundations of diversity and I thought the course was really really interesting. It makes you become more aware of the world and teaches you a lot about yourself. Exams are really freakin hard. I loved how open she is and shes really sweet and nonjudgmental and makes you feel really comfortable. Hw was easy but you read A LOT

Lori is so nice, but she has no problem voicing her own opinions. If you are easily offended, she may not be for you. She is very open about her political views and her sexuality. Which I thought was awesome. Exams are a little challenging, but definitely manageable. I would definitely recommend her.

Dr. Dawson is an extremely caring and kind professor! She does take some time to respond, but that is because her responses are heartfelt and not just solving an issue with a quick answer. Health psychology was a very interesting course! There are many assignments to be aware of, but none are difficult.

Dr. Dawson is awesome. I don't know why so many are saying she is hard. She is easy for the most part and is a fair grader. She is the best and easiest PSY professor I've had at WSU. She is a must take. You will not regret having her.

I've never had a professor as passionate as Dr. Dawson, she's so accomplished and shares as much knowledge as you're willing to absorb. Her test are hard though. It's a solid combination of power points and textbook material so you have to participate and pay attention in class.

Online PS-222 was a lot harder than expected for a 200 level class. Rent the book. Four or five little assignments due every week on different days, you have to really keep track. I added the class a few days late and she assigned quizzes + discussions due that week which wasn't fair. That dropped my grade down a letter grade..

Dr. Dawson is an great professor! I took Psychology of Women with her and loved it! She grades by points. Homework was easy, tests were a little difficult, they were also online. Points wise I should of gotten a C+ because the tests were worth a huge chunk of your grade, but because she knew I put in effort, she gave me an A!

She is a super crazy feminist and extremely liberal. I took her as a criminal justice student and she ragged on police multiple times. She gave her political veiws on the media and encouraged students to attend rallys against police officers... She doesnt get your grades back until 5pm the day they are due, so you have zero feedback all semester.

Dr. Dawson has gone out of her way to help me and a few other students in my statistics class! She has gone above and beyond her necessary duty and has no problem with it. She has also helped me when my advisor was not available to meet with me for advising! Great teacher, great woman. HIGHLY RECOMMEDED!!

WORST EVER! She is so completely unorganized, its completely mind boggling how she can function. She never responds to emails, phone calls, and is never in her office during office hours. This is the most frustrating experience of my college career. Do yourself a favor and steer clear!

Could be a great professor, if she ever replied to e-mail, which is imperative with an online class! Doesn't even reply with time sensitive assignments, or errors made on blackboard that prevent you from doing the work. She replies weeks later (if ever) and doesn't give you the information needed to complete work until it's the day before it's due.

A very liberal and opinionated professor. Very good if you agree with her, if you don't, not so much.
