Comment:

Dr. Lana is a great person, but her lectures can be very boring. It will be confusing, but do the chapter objectives and you will pass the tests and quizzes. There are a lot of online homework assignments, which make no sense, but you will always get a 100. So many points in this class that you don't need to worry about one bad grade.

Comment:

Dr. Lana is a great micro professor. She keeps you focused in lecture by blanking out some parts of the power points for notes. Her objectives are key for exams. Lab can be confusing at times. All in all she grades quickly, informative, available outside of class, and responds to email quickly.

Dr. Lana is super nice and happy to answer questions. She condenses the material and only makes you memorize the basics. Her exams are 100% based off of the objectives she gives - just fill them out as you learn each chapter and you'll get over 100% on tests. Extra credit points on every test. Sometimes she gets confused in lab, but an easy A

Quizzes every week, make sure you got every class because you'll miss information that isn't covered in the book. The objectives are your life!! Do them for quizzes and tests and you should pass. The final sucked because the of the department but otherwise just be attentive and read the book and her power points and you're good

She helps you whenever you need help. As long as you show up to class, use her powerpoints to take notes, and follow the objectives, you'll be sure to pass the class. We have weekly quizzes so after a few weeks, it's pretty much the same routine, just different material. Her review sessions are very helpful too.

Dr. Lana was a great teacher. All you need to do is show up to class, print out powerpoints, take notes, and do/study the obj. she gives you and you should be good! The material is on the harder side but if you do all of the above and go to her when you need help, you should do fine! I would defiantly take her again if I could! She is recommended!

Very good teacher, but not very clear with the way she teaches. Powerpoint after powerpoint hardly no handouts. She drops lowest quiz and exam so if you do your objectives youll be fine and get a tutor thats the only way i passed the class

I really enjoy having her as a professor. She's ridiculously sweet and really knows her stuff. Her mind moves quicker than her mouth sometimes, and she gets herself jumbled (curse of being highly intelligent). She's always wiling to help if she sees your effort, and she gives you objectives that basically spell out the tests for you.

Don't take this class. She is one of the most unclear teachers I have ever had. She was very confused with the subject which confused me more than I actually learned. Her tests were horrible and the multiple choice questions were written very unclear. I have never gotten a c- in biology and it is ridiculous. Don't take her class!!

Her lectures are hard to get used to but after you get the hang of it she's great. She bends over backwards to help her students when they need it. She gives study guides with each test and if you do them youre golden. She's a great teacher...and she makes it fun.

very unclear, she seemed confused more often than she seemed like she knew what she was talking about. Doesnt explain things well and I did not learn one thing in her class except to never get her as a teacher again. she knows what shes doing but cant express it, helps you with tests during the test is the only good thing about her class

Smart lady who is not good at teaching....she often sounds like she has no clue what she is talking about and is very disorganized....hard to understand what an assignment is and I have to ask her questions several times because she is never clear. Nice lady....bad teacher

VERY DIFFICULT. Her tests were very specific and based on far too much information. She is very vague and unclear on a lot of issues she should know about. She has trouble answering basic questions. Poorly written and organized powerpoints.
