She does not respond to email in a timely fashion, especially when it counts. During the online final, she took an hour + to respond, despite advertising her "frequent checking" of her email during the final period in case there were problems, which there were many.

Nice professor, horrible subject. Website went down constantly yet did not clarify if we were skipping sections/going back to them until after asked multiple times. Project guidelines were not always concise which is not helpful since she is a tough grader. StatLab is a life saver! Repeat till grade improves, still do not know how to apply stats!

Its a stats class so you need to expect it is going to be hard. Lori compares well with other stats professors from what ive heard. Shes a tough grader and her lectures can be boring. She goes through slides too fast in my opnion. Dont bother getting the paper version of the book. Just buy the online one. You WILL need a laptop.

I took Basic Math II Non-STEM with Lori. She is very friendly and always there to help. The course is online and you are self-paced in the classroom. Even having no lectures, this class is very easy to pass.

All the assignments, quizzes and tests are online. Lori is nice and if you work at a good pass is understanding. She doesn't accept child like behavior, which should be expected. She is sort of confusing when she tries to help on a lot of the material. However, the tutors in the room are very helpful. I thought the course was very easy.

She was the only teacher I took stats with that passed me. I needed a 2.0 and got a 3.0. Shes easy, flexible, understanding, a little fast but you get to use calculators and notes on tests.

Professor Leonard seemed very arrogant and brisk when it came to interacting with students. She had no connection with us. Treated the class as if it were a high school class room. Yelling at students that they weren't allowed to leave and blocking their way to the door. Very off-putting and rude. Will avoid her as a teacher from now on. RUDE.

Useless professor. Took her for an online class. Just assigns weekly assignments from a book that is really poor. Her English is terrible - You cant understand what her questions or assignments mean because her sentences dont make sense - You answer her question, then she complains its not what she wanted. Expects not to have to do anything. Avoid.

she's kinda hard, comes across as not nice, but deep down she's a sweetheart. if you take time to talk to her outside the classroom (shes not easy to find) she turns out to be accomodating, and downright cool. CIS was a lot easier than cs1 with her. if you are somewhat motivated, you should be fine

expected students to have more knowledge then they did. in class discussion when she wasnt lecturing were pretty fun, but never helped on the homework assignments. tests were ridiculous and on stupid stuff like minute computer terminology that most dont need to know. but will help you when needed.

It seems as if she goes out of here way to make the classes difficult. She will often lecture and fly through a chapter with little to no in depth conversation about and assigns a ridiculous amount of reading. Her tests come out of left field.

Lori(or as some of us call her FFL) should not be teaching. Comp Sci 1 and 2 are weed out classes to get those out of the major. Well apparently she did too good of a job. There are less than 10 kids in CS2. I would say avoid but you cant if your a cs maj
