She strips away all of the info that you need to be able to complete the course from the slides she posts, so you're unable to self-study the material. It hurts a lot if you miss a day and then lose something critical that you can't get from the slides.

Great at explaining concepts. I'm not a HK student and took this class out of interest and would now like to take more in HK courses in the future. Midterm and quizzes were fair, but the final was worth 55% and I found it to be really difficult. Not sure if that was my fault or if it was genuinely hard. Make sure you know how to explain concepts!

Loved Lori!! She genuinely cares about her students understanding and succeeding in her course. She writes long midterms and finals, but us reasonable. Go to class and you're guaranteed not to see any surprises.

Loved this class!! Lori makes lectures fun and engaging and she really does care and want to know all of her students. She doesn't "trick" you for midterms or exams, when she says know something know it. She doesn't like multiple choice testing so you can expect long answer style midterms and exams! Go to lecture, there are crucial blanks in slides
