Lorna Brau is the most unorganized professor at UNM. The most common complaint is her lack of organization. She changes the due date and schedule less than 24 hours before it's due. She blames her mistakes on previous teachers, because she just uses their old material. She can be really rude at times and shames you for mistakes. Avoid!

She is very unorganized. She posted assignments less than 24 hours before they were due. She graded assignments very slowly. And, she had less knowledge about Japanese Society than her students. She had a lot of knowledge of Manga and Anime. But, she is a very easy grader. If You miss a couple of assignment, you can get an A easily.

She was a really sweet teacher who was passionate about the course materials. I took two of her classes and I really enjoyed them both. She can be a bit disorganized, but she really wants her students to learn and the class discussions are always fun. Anyone interested in Japanese culture should definitely take her class.

Brau is very nice,sweet and fun. However, she is VERY disorganized and absent minded. There was several days when she came into class without her lecture/notes and (poorly) winged it. I've taken several classes with her and they never feel different, she materials can also be pretty dated. Easy class but wish there was a bit more to them.

She is my favorite professor here. She is knowledgable and so much fun. She is willing to work with you no matter what. There is quite a bit of reading and you need to do journal entries on them but you have all semester to do so. Disorganized - but that is A-ok. She is tons of fun.

Brau-sensei is one of my favorite professors. she's a little absent minded at times but shes completely lovable, fair and easy to talk to. Her classes are packed with interesting facts and readings. She love what she teaches and it is apparent.

Took her japanese lit class- how cool, we are going to be studying the supernatural and the uncanny? She brings it all, classics texts, anime and everything in between. Very flexible according to the class's level of knowledge and ability.
