He doesn't care about any of his students. The school isn't going to fire him because he brought money into the school. He will fail everyone and make every student get dismissed from the pharmacy program. He doesn't care. If he doesn't like your test answers (even if it's right), he will give you a zero and no partial credits. Just don't take him.

Definitely the worst prof Ive ever had. I gave him 5/5 difficulty not because the tests are hard, but because literally does not teach any material. No txtbook or ppts. He rambles about science, but not what is actually being tested. Choses favorites and gives them hints about whats on the test. If youre not Italian or white dont bother.

Just talks and talks about random things, then gives an extremely difficult test based on nothing. Doesn't use the textbook at all. Get on his good side or drop the class. I would NOT recommend him. One of the worst professors ever.

Worst professor I have ever had. Gives good lectures, but tests are completely out of left field. Funny guy, nice when you first meet him but does not care about his students at all. Trust me, you do not want to take this class. Material is difficult in itself, but this guy makes it much worse. Only two tests and no ppts.

Avoid! I am a very dedicated student and only ended with a B. Tests are EXTREMELY difficult. Lectures are unorganized. need to write EVERYTHING down since there is no textbook or ppt use. He didnt even give us a syllabus. He is extremely intelligent and I learned so much. but for grading purposes, he is NOT the teacher to take! Still funny though

I dont understand how this guy has good review. He does give good lectures, he makes jokes and talks about interesting things. But don't be fooled by the jolly old man rouse. He is all over the place. Says that his tests are based on his lectures, but he says his lectures r just whatever he's thinking about that day. So tests are completely random

Trombetta is probably the worst professor I have ever had. I am by no means "lazy". Prior to this class I have never had any issues with professors. Unless you kiss up to him and he likes you, you are pretty screwed. This is not a difficult class, it is just impossible with this guy.

I believe that Dr. Trombetta is an amazing wake up call. I am part of the PA program as well, he makes you work for your grade and really makes us absorb the knowledge instead of just memorizing. His lectures actually teach rather then read off power points that we will forget. He makes me enjoy studying and has connects anatomy 2 real life3him

Those who do not like Dr. Trombetta are lazy students. He is one of the best professors in St. Johns, as long as you dedicate the time for his class. Be prepared to study for his tests, but you will leave his class understanding things that are actually applicable to the healthcare field. If you want to learn, I recommend taking his class!

Toughest professor I have ever met. Expects students to know everything already so if you go to him during office hours he only makes you feel dumb for getting questions wrong on the test. Has an "I don't care" attitude about everything and doesn't care about failing students. Tests are way too hard and he doesn't do anything to help you prep.

He is literally the worst professor I have ever had. AVOID HIM AT ALL COSTS. Trust me he does not care if you pass or fail. He thinks he can do whatever he wants .. and he can. So unless you want to retake this class over the summer I suggest you switch out IMMEDIATELY.

Professor Trombetta is one of the few people who can actually teach AP1 at SJU. He gives amazing lectures, come to class and take notes you are guaranteed at least an A-. He's funny too and likes to joke around during lecture. Definitely use the textbook as you go over his notes it will help as well. He's no where near satan like!!

Once described in a previous review as "satan in disguise", Dr. Trombetta has proven himself to be the complete opposite. He's extremely passionate about what he teaches and you can see that in every single lecture. Although the midterm and final are essay based, it is definitely possible to pass any of his classes. Hilarious & informative.

Great Prof! Go to class and take very good notes. Know all of the processes he explains and be able to write them with lots of detail for the essays. I learned a lot in his class and a good grade is possible if you really study. Very helpful and wants to see his students do well. You will come out a better essay writter for all your science classes
