As chemistry professors go she is the best. She is really kind and will help with whatever she can. She is a very busy person (Head of dept.) but if you ask her for a time she will be there. Her exams are not hard but HW is. She has a dry sense of humor and is intimidating at first but once you get to know her she is the best of the best. Take her.

She is the best teacher. She is wicked friendly and very nice. She will always help if you are willing to ask. Her test are wicked easy as long as you do her work. I absolutely loved her.I wish I could have her again.

She is extremelly nice. I thought the starting material was useless to chemistry and threw off her pace. She started really slow and then went really quickly. She is straight foward with her material and a fair grader.

I started chem classes at UMass Boston and always ended up withdrawing-I just could never quite grasp it. Then I took Dr. Bodack's class,game changer. I ended up adding minors in BioChem and Food Science. I still use the strategies she taught me in Principals of Chem in all my other classes. She is so approachable and just a fantastic instructor:o)

class wasnt too bad, if you do everything you can and ask for extra help, you might pass. she teaches at a very fast pace, so chances are you'll miss something. all in all, shes not a bad teacher, you just have to put extra effort in in relearning the material after she teaches it.

Great teacher. Explains everything clearly, helps you if you do not understand. Everything she teaches are on the quizes and exams. The only bad thins is that the course is kind of hard, so be prepared to hit the books!

Her tests aren't that bad. She doesnt really explain things very well but it's pretty easy to pass. She gives you tons of info in one lecture and then pop quizzes you the next day. She'll give you info in class and then quiz you on that same info like 5 minutes later on a pop quiz...

Smart work is very hard, much harder than examples in class. Pop quizes, stickler for reading the directions. Exams are long and hard and 1 hr time limit.She hardly answers questions when you raise your hand in class. She crams lots of info into one lecture and will quiz you on that material the next day. But if you need help she'll help you after.

The tests are REDICULOUSLY HARD. They are usually 6-7 pages long.. 4 of which are multiple choice, the other is show your work. She is good about giving credit for part 2 on exams..lecture drags by and she isnt very enthusiastic. If you show her ur trying and REALLy study.. like A TON u should pass I did everything I could and only got a C-.

She's a great professor. The class is simple enough for anyone who paid any attention to Chem 1 in high school. Her lectures are thorough and she gives adequate notice before quizzes and tests (which I find easy.) Anyone who says that she's bad didn't give enough effort into the easy workload given.

Dr. Bodack is a better lab teacher. Her lectures were long and tedious and we were taking notes the whole time. She was clear about everything but her tests were really hard. I barely passed her chem class !!
