399-MENTAL HEALTH --Very detail oriented and organized, very fair grader. Her real-world knowledge plays well into the conversation and is applicable to lessons. Very direct and at times may appear rude, but cares a lot about her students and really just wants to make sure they are knowledgeable when they leave her course. Gives good advice!

She is completely rude and sarcastic. She claims to go easy on the students, since it is only to understand different research methods. However, she still grades harsh. If you are presenting, she will interrupt you before you even finish. Her comments do not even help either on papers. Definitely prejudice towards people too. Do not take her!

Saw the comments on this and was dreading taking her. I was pleasantly surprised. She is very nice and knows the material well. Just make sure you do the assigned readings and don't just sit and doze off and everything will be fine

when i had her for human behavior and swk 338 i didnt think she was so bad, but research methods was another story. Ironic that she used to b a therapist b/c she is def. bipolar or something. plays favorites really bad and her tests are hard. says she'll give lots of extra help but it's pretty useless when she talks to u like ur stupid.

If you want to learn something without it being clouded by a professors borderline personality, do not take her. She is rude and sarcastic. If she likes you (blonde hair and blue eyes), your golden, if you are in any way different, your in trouble. She doesn't follow her own rules and thank god she is going on sabattical next semester.

she does offer good examples to clarify course content. however, i find her to be rude, judgemental and sarcastic. Are these not qualities that work against NASW code of ethics. she makes unnecessary personal comments, to students while in class, which is highly inappropriate and not the role of a professor. she must learn the proper boundaries.

I thought her rudeness was my imagination, however, other students confirmed it. I think she is prejudice and and judgemental, certainly not traits I would look for in a social worker. Thank god that her chairwoman position is up this July. I have her for 2 classes next semester, help!!!!!
