Honestly, one of the worst teachers I've ever had. Admitted on the first day that she had no right or background to teach the class, but knew someone on the board who got her the job. I notice she is no longer teaching drama at ACC and they got a teacher who actually has a background in theater and hasn't just gone to some shows. Retaking with him.

Already taken two classes with Prof Graca and will be taking another one next semester. I absolutely love her, her classes are always entertaining! Even if you're not really into the subject, she'll make you interested in it. She's helpful, hilarious, and very nice. Take her classes if you can!

Mrs. Graca was a great teacherfor this class! I couldn't imagine taking this class with anyone else! She kept the class interesting and made sure all the students were involved in the discussions. I would highly reccomend her for any level of English or theater class! Great, knowledgeable professor! Just don't ask her about the 70's! :)

This is a great class with a great teacher, she wasn't difficult at all. Even if you don't like English and or have difficulty with it (like I do). You will love this class. No big essays, tests are simple, and the material is highly addicting. I definitely recommend this class. However you can only take it in the Fall so the sooner the better.

I took ENG 121 in Spring 2010 with Graca. Mrs. Graca seemed scary at first, however, the longer I was in her class, the more I realized how much she is there to help her students. She is extreamly wity and has a great sense of humor. I am looking forward to taking her ENG 235 class this fall! You ROCK Mrs G!!

Great professor. On the first day Graca told us her class was hard, and it was. You have to earn your grade, but it was the best English class ever. I learned a lot. No busy work in this class.

I've had her for Eng 121 Lit 225 (Shakespeare) and Eng 235. She is the best teacher I have ever had, because I actually learned something from her classes. She does seem abrasive but she wants her students to be serious and not waste her ( or other students) time. If you want to work hard and learn something for the future. She's the right for you!

Extremely clever woman. She knows what she is talking about and she has the real world experience to back it up. There is no need to take comp 1 too seriously, but if you pay attention, you will be a better writer at the end.

She is scary at first then gets worse... she will tell you have questions in mind before you ask questions before your paper, never the less she will also talk about her editing experience and so on.. she wont look at your paper before you turn it in... so don't take her class unless you learn by yourself.

This Professor is VERY full of herself. She teaches the class like an editor rather than a teacher. Her custom grading marks come with a three page glossary that she hands out but that don't make sense even when you have her guide right next to your papers. Horrible teacher, I do not see how anyone could say she is a good teacher.

She is a good teacher. However, when i asked for a review on my final paper, she told me I addressed her disrespectfully when I didnot. Because she told the class she liked being called Graca not, "professor" Graca. None of my other teachers thought I disrespected them in their email when I didnot address them as professors.

If you want to have fun, don't take Graca. However, if you want to learn, ABSOLUTELY TAKE GRACA. I guarentee, that you will be scared out of your mind at the beginning of the semester. DON'T DROP. She hates slackers, she hates texting, she hates class clowns, she hates suckups, but she loves hard workers. Easily the best teacher at the school.

Prof Graca is one of the best educators i've ever met. She is very kind and funny, but she knows how to get to the point. I have never learned so much in one class than i have from her. I thank her for teaching me so much. Want to learn a lot? Take her class. She is extremely smart and knows a vast amount about this subject.

She found herself to be very funny, and her laugh of funny in itself. But I was moderately interested in what she had to say about the course topic but completely lost interest when I left. Her quizzes are easy and her test are moderately hard. I would take her for an easy "B".

At the beginning of the semester, she's terrifying in the way she presents herself and the course to come. But don't let her scare you! About halfway through, she opens up and is fun. You'll do well if you act like an adult, do the material, and DONT ASK DUMB QUESTIONS or she'll shoot you down. Be respectful and responsible and you're golden.

At the beginning of the semester, Graca's terrifying in the way she presents herself, and the course to come. But don't let this scare you! About halfway through the semester, she really opens up. She does expect you to act like an adult and to be responsible. Come to class, read the material, work hard, and most of all: DONT ASK DUMB QUESTIONS!

Lucy Graca taught me more about being a student than anyone or anything. Is she a hard teacher? Well, she is a fair teacher and simply expects you to act like an adult and do your work. If you truly want to learn take a course from Lucy Graca.

GB Section. Seems to have been burned by students in the past, casts herself as a hardass. Overall an incredible professor, you just need to find your own method of getting past the "bristly" exterior. She'll seem intimidating. Learn how to approach her and ask pertinent questions: you will discover she has many good things to say.

Gets off topic. When on topic, she gets the message to you clearly and never leaves things unsettled. Treats students as adults. Great teacher.
