Comment:

Professor Marsh clearly cares about students and the school. Her system oversimplifies property somewhat by focusing on the elements only. Yes, in real-world property law you would need to understand circuit splits and legal ambiguities too. But understanding the law begins with knowing the elements. Her grading is brutal but I liked the feedback.

To say the least, there's a lot of hype about Marsh. Most of it is BS. I'll allow that her teaching style is idiosyncratic. However, if you're not in law school with the expectation that you're going to be babied by your professors, her classes can be very productive. Marsh functions on the basic premise that you should do assigned work.Shocking

Worst professor ever. Hardly ever used the $180 casebook we had to buy. Terribly disorganized; class discussion almost always about how to color code the cases. Discussed FRCP by reading them aloud at a rapid pace. Completely senile. It's time for her to retire.
