CAN WE SAY WHAT A GOOFBALL! He would get so excited about what he was talking about, and move about a hundred miles a minute and walk around the table and keep hitting his leg...HARD...and than continue to teach, and rub his leg...he did this about a hundred times, same spot! Other than that, he was a good professor!

We say that Farkas practices "stealth learning." His classes seem easy - and they are - not because he demands so little, but because he makes students learn without them realizing it. I gave up taking notes the first lecture and have decided he works by osmosis.

I had Dr. Farkas for my senior experience English class. He is incredibly intelligent and elucidates incredibly weighty concepts. He is also very nice and down to earth. Developed a bit of a crush, actually. Hearing him lecture was mind-expanding as well as entertaining.

Farkas seems to know when a student needs to pay attention and when not... he's okay with your mind and attention wandering, which will happen because he makes complex subjects seem easy, but he's also dead smart. His classes are stimulating as long as you're being challenged.

I had intro to lit studies and this man knows his stuff! Class was awesome and he always had a positive attitude. Farkas knows how to make literature fun and also takes pleasure in engaging the entire class. Love him!

man is mad smart and really fluent in his thoughts. he does go a mile a minute through his lectures, so keeping up with him can distract you from keeping interest. he's also just a entertaining character to observe (mannerisms, way he talks etc.) if you lose interest in the lecture. i'd take him for another class.
