Comment:

I loved Lui! He isn't that difficult to understand, though there are a few words and he'll clarify if you ask. It is a tough class but he makes sure to go over everything over and over. Homework is pretty tough and not always what he's teaching in class. The final is 50% of your grade and pretty rough. Take good notes and you'll do fine.

Comment:

He has a pretty thick accent but you will get used to it after a few lectures. The material seems very confusing most of the time but he does over it more than a handful of times, if you review the topic on your own you will find it very easy. Homework from the book is much harder than stuff in class. 25%HW, 25% easy midterm, 50% HARD final!

Not a bad class! A little hard to understand & hear, so sit closer to the front. But his lectures are clear & he tells you exactly what you can expect for each test. For tests, you get 3 pgs of notes & open book.

A bit hard to understand, but is fair in terms of the two test. No curve-balls thrown at you! 25% on midterm, 50% on final. Lets you bring 3 pieces of notes on each. Make sure to go to every review session!

Lui is awesome. He is so smart and so talented. Every Asian should want to grow up like Lui. Lui knows king-fui. Recommend this class. For tests 3 pages of notes/book but practice problems before test.

This professor is a nice guy, but he couldn't care less about teaching. His heavy accent, while difficult to understand, is the least of your worries. He welcomes questions, but often interrupts you before you've finished asking the question. As a result, he doesn't answer the questions adequately. His notes are unorganized and confusing.
