I thought that Dr. Linares was one of the nicest teachers I've had. The class was pretty easy, with very minimal homework. There were probably three tests, no final, but a 10 minute oral presentation on culture that you could do individually or in a group. I would definitely take any of his future classes.

Dr. LLO is such a kind man. He will absolutely help you if you need it, and he is one of the nicest people I've ever met. If something (like requirements for an assignment) is important enough, he will switch to English to explain it, but other than that he speaks in Spanish 100%. Also he has a fabulous wardrobe - something to look forward to!

He is a very nice guy but do not go into the class expecting an A. He is a very hard grader and does not give extra credit. If you are going to cheat he isn't afraid to ruin your life. Just stay on his good side and you will do fine!

The BEST Spanish prof I have ever had. He conducts the entire class in Spanish and has conversations with everyone in the beginning of class. Puts you on the spot but doesn't make you feel stupid if you get it wrong. READ HANDOUTS and boxes in textbook! He makes Spanish fun and easy, I'd highly recommend him for any Spanish class.

He was the best spanish professor I've ever had! Just be respectful and attentive and you'll love it! We just talked in spanish about whatever most of the time, my class was like a family. He was great, shared some funny stories too. Attendance is mandatory, but you will want to go to class! Take him if you're at all interested in spanish!!!

He is amazing! I love spanish and his class was my favorite! He made it hilarious and it was extremely interesting. He makes debates really fun and makes you want to speak. I would definitely take him. There are regular homework assignments that are just busy work but if you know your stuff tests are easy!

Ok folks, this is college so stop whining about how hard it is. Those who get embarassed in class are the ones who try to get by without doing any work. Dr. Ocanto is not easy, but he is not exactly tough. He knows the students that try and will work with you as much as he can to help you out. If you want to learn spanish, this is the guy.
