A little bit vague/unclear when it comes to instructions. She tries to engage class in discussion though, and as long as you pay close attention to her slides. Textbook reading isn't absolutely a necessity, I winged all my quizzes and still did well. Also missed my final and she was kind enough to meet me up at a coffee shop to let me take it then

Comment:

Most of the lectures and quizzes are based on the textbook that you have to read on your own time. There are only 2 major speeches and 3 practice speeches. I highly recommend you take advantage of her office hours because she can sometimes be unclear about what she specifically wants in each speech. Overall she's a very sweet professor.

Really easy class! I procrastinated on all of my speeches and received A's on all. Sometimes she can be a bit unclear about what she is looking for when it comes to speeches but she gives outline examples that you can just use. Going to class is easy and mandatory she gives participation points you don't have to participate just show up

take her once a week classes or night classes. she is straight forward, easy, and easily to get along with. her assignments are straightforward. she grades pretty easy cares a lot about outline. you dont need the book since her notes cover everything for the quiz. quizzes are easy ano need to study hard just review notes night before the quiz

She's very nice and approachable. It's not impossible to get an A in this class. If you work hard and prepare your speeches well, you will get a decent grade. She is pretty picky when grading presentaions..marked me down the same points for going 3 seconds over the time limit than people who had not even reached the minimum time limit..Overall very good teacher. knows what she wants and will rarely give into students thought..I also thought she was a very hot/exotic teacher with a nice accent

AWESOME. She is clear and concise. Funny and optimistic. She really cares about her students and makes sure she is clear for everyone, not just some people. The speeches are pretty easy if you make friends in the class. I highly recommend her!!

Had her for Comm 20 and Comm 41. She´s very direct and clear about assignnments. I highly recommend her if you need to take a 3 hour class. Keeps class interesting and she´s nice to her students. Sort of on the strict side.MUST ATTEND CLASS AND FOLLOW GUIDELINES CLOSELY.

Prior to the class, I would consider myself a good speaker, but I definitely improved. Professor Pour gives you good critiques, and be sure to LISTEN and APPLY them to your next speech. It sounds a little silly, but would you really want points knocked off because your hair covered your face? She was a great teacher and will always help students!

She's really detail-oriented and picky. It's really hard to get an A in this class b/c she can always find something to knock off points in your speeches. You MUST follow the OUTLINE perfectly b/c she really looks at it! Show up to class on time b/c she gets annoyed if you're always late. Good thing in this class was that there were no midterms!
