Comment:

Lydia is an awesome professor. Expects you to put the effort in & to be in class. Allows a total of 5 absences. Can be a tough grader but I think it is because her rubrics are clear as day. Her quizzes are fuzzy if you don't study notes & she makes them brand new every semester based on what exactly is discussed in class. Switched advisor to her.

Lydia is not the kind of professor that every student will relate to and enjoy - BUT, you will LEARN in her class. She is committed to enhancing students' knowledge and ensuring that everyone leaves class with new ideas. That being said, yes, she can be a bit abrasive. However, she will talk to anyone so if you're struggling, just approach her!

Lydia is a challenging professor, so don't take her class if you just want to slide by on bare minimum. She definitely picks favorites, and she likes the people who are really interested in the material. She's honest and clear with what she wants. She doesn't beat around the bush or spare feelings, so this class isn't for the weak. She's great.

she doesnt use book at all.Tlks a lot and can talk down to students and make jokes...very disrespectfull teacher. Explaining material in casual maner but expects way more out of the assignmnet.Not willing to help...ever. Class is stressfull, if i have an opportunity I would not take it again.

very good at what she teaches and a very has been very influential for me. can be really strict. From what I've seen, if you take her for an elective class, she is fun and I would highly recommend her, but for a major requirement lass, she expects A LOT and you need to devote A LOT of time to her class. great teacher though she can be rude at times

Opinionated but willing to listen to others. Either she likes you or she doesn't, that is obvious. She can be really sweat and is very knowledgable. She is a pleasure to work with on a professional basis and is an excellent person. Can be aggrivating at times.

She is all about health education and if you are a health education major she will love you. This class was stressful though she expects a lot from you so do not expect it to be an easy A.

Have had her for Stress Management and Drugs in Society and shes a great prof and really enjoys what she teaches. Shes a little picky about papers and grammar but she allows "cheat sheets" for exams! Great teacher!

She is nice but does use sly comments to insult people. Attendance is a must. If you go to class and pay attention all you have to do for the midterm (usually the only test she gives) is put all the info on the paper or notecard and put examples she gave in class and you will get an A. Easy if you do the work.
