Dr Turner's class is difficult. You have to study your notes everyday in order to do well on exams. She is a really good person, always willing to listen and take the time to help explain concepts to you. She gives 100%, but she expects her students to do the same.

Dr. Turner is the best nursing professor that I have ever had. I honestly wish she taught ever single nursing course offered at Marshall, although I know that's not possible. I learned so much from her and she was always so helpful. She genuinely cares for the nursing field and for her students. GREAT TEACHER!

Dr. Turner is the most helpful and encouraging professor I have ever had. She genuinely cares about your success and she wants you to pass. I have her for clinical also and I have learned so much more than I have with other clinical instructors. She will go above and beyond to help you in this class, ask for help she doesn't mind she loves to help!

by far best nursing instructor at marshall. all others have no desire to benefit student. she is very difficult, i had her for lab and she always had us do extra studying which sucked but she makes test questions... hint. take her lab, it will greatly benefit you. She is the kindest professor i have yet to meet at marshall, but most difficult.

Such a sweet, caring individual. She wants all students to learn in a positive manner. Take good notes, questions come mainly from what she says in class and outlines in the syllabus. Had her for clinical and loved her! Didn't make me feel nervous a day in the hospital. Wish I could have her for all my clinicals! Learned so much!

Dr. T is great!!! She is so compassionate and genuine and an AMAZING teacher. I had her 221 and 323 clinical and I learned A LOT--especially in 323 clinical. She was so encouraging and offered constructive criticism in a very caring manner. I can honestly call her my friend as well as professor!!!

Taught class w/ Dr. Appleton; overall wonderful professor. She is very compassionate. Tests can be very tricky though; you really have to think about, analyze, and apply the material you have been taught. The exams are not really straight-forward at all; lots of application and situational questions. Overall great class though; she's so nice!

Dr. Turner is great. She teaches well and she really knows her stuff. She expects it to be a certain way, but that should be expected because it is nursing. She is very helpful and compassionate and willing to listen and answer any questions that anyone might have. She is defenitely great to have for the first year in nursing....:)

God's love shines through this wonderful lady. She truly cares about patients and students. When you're in a patient's room with her, you can really tell she has compassion and cares for the patient. She has excellent knowledge of nursing, and also knows tons of "latest updates" in the field. Unfortunately, I do not have the brain to get full advantage of having had her for an instructor. You'll learn tons - be an OVERACHIEVER! She rocks.
