She definitely is one of nicest people I have met here at Northern to date. She is very helpful and is willing to help you find what you need without taking a bunch of fluff classes. Everyone in the Elementary Ed program who has her is lucky:) I know I am.

To the person below: I have to agree with the person below you. Lynne was the rudest lady I've come across at Northern. I changed advisors because she was so unhelpful. If you suck up to her she's wonderful, but you shouldn't have to do that to your own advisor! Stay away from her. Worst ever!

I absolutely HATED this lady! SHe was my advisor for elementary teaching, and she was not at all helpful, very discouraging, and extremely rude. Because of her I dropped my teaching degree and went into business. The business advisors were the BEST..Stay away from Gerhardt!! She's EVIL!
