Lynn Jacobs gave very nice lectures with power-point slides. It was very important to read the text as well as take notes in order to understand the historical context. She emphasized historical context a lot. I enjoy Art History but her grading was very hard. Would take her again though.

Nice professor but she's really tough. Papers and tests are really detailed and the tests are pretty much pure memorization. To get a good grade on the paper, it needs to be very detailed. Overall, okay class.

She's great! You can talk to her anytime you need help and she's happy to give it. Classes are interesting and her lectures are very organized. Just a great all around teacher. Take good notes, though.

Dr. Jacobs is a very nice person and gets really excited about Northern Renaissance art. She's a little goofy but whe wears it well. I figured out after the first test to be VERY thorough on the essays. Paper subjects tough to research because there's not always a lot of info on the artists of the time, but she's really helpful.

Lynn is pretty tough but makes you actually learn what it's all about, I bled Art History through the nose because it took so much attention but was fixated every class. I also took time to chat during office hours and she is a very cool person away from

A very detailed class with very detailed tests & final. Interesting if you're into art, unbearable if you aren't. I really learned a lot from her and gained new appreciation. She's a nice lady also.

Tough class, very detailed, definitely grad-level. Tough on essays, be VERY thorough and leave no thought unmentioned. She expects a *lot* of elaboration and independent thought. Genuinely caring and nice woman.
