I had to withdraw from this class (it was online) because the grading and assignments were ridiculous. Every single assignment I failed even when I compared with other students and talked to her after every grade. She gave me a C on me introducing myself post on d2L.

RUN as fast as you can away from this professor! This is a 3 credit hour class, which means you should anticipate spending 3 hours plus 6-9 hours per week working on assignments. A student who cares about their grade will spend more like 4-6 hours per DAY, 5-7 days a week on just THIS class. Her written instructions are very hard to understand.

Very unclear with her expectations. Her course materials are from different sources that sometimes say different things. Does give you the ability to REDO assignments, but you need it just to know what she was expecting in the first place.

Although she may be a super tough grader, she is incredibly nice and gives very good feedback on each assignment! The fact that she takes her time and actually reads through papers and tests truly shows she cares about her student's success. Yes, she can be a little mean at times, but overall I appreciated the tough teacher love. Wonderful prof!

There was no feedback on online courses, even when receiving an F on the only assignment we couldn't redo. This professor has the worst way of explaining what she wants out of an assignment and when you ask for clarity,she gets upset that we are questioning her style of teaching and judgement... Would not recommend, would not take again

Susan Kendall is probably my least favorite professor I have ever had. Whenever I have a question or assignment I want to discuss she simply tells you to "read the syllabus" or "read the book." Grades really tough for a required class that nobody takes by choice. Get another professor if you can.

I took her class online and she is not an easy grader, but if you read the book and pay attending to what she is asking of you it will be easy to pass her homework. You do have to make time for her 3 essays because she is picky, but just email her to meet and she will help you pass. don't take her class for an easy A be ready to cry a little.

She was not of hardly any help. She was not willing to listen to anything anyone has to say. She is brutal to the point of unfairness. If you strongly disagree with a grade you got and felt it was unfair she will not look over it or think twice about anything she has done. I am switching schools just because I won't ever take her again.

She's a tough grader, but in the business world, it is CRUCIAL to be a good writer. She is always willing to help you if you're stuck. If you're looking to become a good professional writer, this is a fantastic teacher. if you're looking for an easy A, you probably should quit business now.

Had Ms. Kendall for an online class. Think maybe she would be a better in-person instructor. Frequently struggled to understand what she wanted from assignments. Class was difficult, put in at least 4 hours of homework per day for this class alone. She seems willing to help, but doesn't seem to know how to without making things more confusing.

She is a tough grader, however, she is incredibly helpful. You have to be able to take constructive critisism, if you can't this is not the class for you. She's knows what she's doing and if you ask for help, she WILL help you. Also, if read your book in her class, you'll do fine; if you don't and bad grade, that's your fault, not hers.

Susan is the most self important, uptight, snotty and difficult person I have ever worked with. She gets her jollies off cutting other students down whether it be for lack of experience or understanding. I missed class for a funeral and she demanded proof by means of a death certificate. She runs her class with an iron fist. Don't waste your time!!
