She isn't very good at teaching directly towards the point, her teaching is very scattered and her lectures are monotone. She does too many examples instead of getting right to the point. In my opinion, show up for the worksheets, then go home and watch videos to learn. She's just not very direct. But she is nice, kind of awkward.

I really like Lynn and have taken other courses from her, but I would not recommend her for this class. It is evident that she has a high mastery of the material, but she can be hard to follow while lecturing which is certainly not helpful because MATH 142 is all extended story problems. If you want to earn an A, reconsider your instructor choice.

terrible at explaining everything.. test and quizzes are on stuff that you dont even go over in class.... helps her favorites CHEAT on the test.

Siedenstrang is tremendously gracious and nice. She knows mathematics, lectures enthusiastically, and provides the optimal learning environment for learning the subject. In addition, she is very thorough and is always willing to help her students understand the material. Extraordinary teacher!

Professor Siedenstrang is growing on me, but it has been a bit rough getting to that point. I find her hard to follow. She frequently makes mistakes and that really confused me. Now that I know mistakes are likely, I can deal with it, but it was very painful at first. The Precalculus book is feast and famine with explanations.

Lynn Siedenstrang is a great math teacher! Before taking her class I hated math, now I am taking higher level classes. She cares about her students success & understanding of the material. All of her classes are very structured & laid out. You know what is to come weeks ahead of time. She will take the time to help you before, during, & after class

she is an easy teacher to understand but she is really repetitive. She seems to think the things she has explained every day for the past week are new. Plus she is always making errors on the board that her students have to catch or they get lost
