Dr. Talit is an extremely hard professor and has strict expectations. The writing center will be very helpful when writing papers (she will take this into account when grading). If you want to improve your writing skills and be challenged take her. It is the student who earns the grade and it is their fault if they don?t do well in the class.

She certainly challenges her students. There is a big workload, in comparison to other courses. She is funny, and yes a tad crazy, but she makes the class work as best she can. I've learned a LOT in her class, far more than any other course I've taken at CCSU. I recommend her; she isn't easy, but the struggle is what makes this class worth it.

You will want to drop this class on the first day. If you don't want to write tons of papers about crazy topics then you should drop it. Talit always thinks she is right. She LOVES when people speak up in class. Even though she is crazy and a little scary I liked her a lot, and looked forward to going to class by the end of semester.

She's arrogant, condescending and rude. She disrespects students, yet demands their respect. I am in college because I want to learn and be guided, but not to be treated like a moron by a miserable woman who thinks she the smartest being walking the planet. I've had far better teachers, who were far more approachable and effective. DROP NOW!!!

Professor Talit is an extremely hard grader. Didnt get higher then a C on a paper all semester. Had very strong opinions. However, I have learned alot from her that i wont forget. Was up in the air about my grade, but came out with a B. She knows if you're trying and putting an effort in, and lets you do papers over. I liked her

I took her class 6 years ago, and by reading everyone's recent reviews she still has not changed. What a miserable woman. She used to come into class wearing big men's shoes...so we asked her about it, and she said they were her dead husband's shoes, i guess it made her feel close to him...WHACKY!!! Thus far, all mentioned is true. I had her about 4 years ago, and she made me cry the first day. Will embarass you in front of the class. Doesn't like certain words such as "umm" or "like" while speaking. She is tough, but if you like a challenge, and want to learn, take her. YOU WILL LEARN A LOT FROM HER. If you cry easily, DONT DO IT!

She is scary and demanding, but she was clear in what she wanted so you knew exactly what was expected of you. She thinks that if she says, "You know I'm not picking on you right?" she's not picking on you, but she is. However, I learned a lot about writing papers in this class.
