Comment:

Hanson is the best! She is very laid back and informal, but teaches the class in a very simple manner and is very good at probing class discussion. Her teaching style is a serious relief from most other professors and compliments a semester of boring classes perfectly! She is also extremely kind and will give you the best grade she can.

Definitely the best law professor for the Faculty of Medicine. Thorough notes and a very easy marker. She answers all questions in great detail.

I LOVE Lynne Hanson. I can see how people wouldn't like her for a basic course, but advanced torts with her is one of the best classes I've ever taken. Case comments > exams > papers.

Comment:

She uses class time to entertain herself. Basically, she will teach you what is interesting as opposed to what is needed/useful. She does know her stuff but she is very bad at getting it across, often giving conflicting statements with the casebook. Her class is best done by reading the casebook.

Shockingly bad - inconsistent and ill prepared. The best part, however, is that she prefers to teach the 'Hanson' way, as opposed to that of the Supreme Court of Canada when she thinks that the SCC is "just wrong"

Proof that a dozen+ years of experience with the material is NO substitute for a few minutes of prep before lecturing. Wastes painful portion of each class thumbing through the text, making unsubstantiated statements like "that's just wrong" and asking "probing" questions like "isn't that cool?"
