Very good professor & great lecture!!! I do not like taking history course in general, but I did as an elective course. I would highly recommend her. Her classes are very interesting and you will learn a lot. There are fair bit amount of readings and assignments, but not excessive, so it was very doable. She was easy to talk to and willing to help.

Lynne is the most caring teacher I've had in University so far. She really knows her stuff and relates it to the present day context. Her teaching style is thoughtful, informed and philosophical at times... all fantastic things!

Lynne is amazing! She is so kind and helpful and is knows her stuff! Her lectures are a little dull but very clear and concise. Go to class, do the readings and you'll come out with a good grade! Highly recommend taking a class with her at some point

Professor Marks is very knowledgeable about women's history, and although her lectures are duller than watching paint dry (mostly due to her monotonous voice) the classes are nonetheless fine. She is very respectful of students' opinions, and is good at quelling angry arguments.
