Had trouble outside of class with a student and she was the first person I went to. Always there to help you succeed. Wants the best for her students. Super funny and great person to be around. By far my favourite professor.

Shauna is by far the best teacher / prof Ive had to date. She is constantly available outside of class and goes above and beyond for her students. I had Shauna for both Poli Sci and Strategies and she was a huge inspiration and motivator for me throughout these classes

ATTENDANCE IS MANDATORY! but lets not have iClickers working until the week the strike starts... which lasts 5 more weeks. Yet it is the students fault. Some of us saved up for years to go back to school, Shauna and Karen didnt care remotely unless you were one of their favourites (bailey, etc) and they spent 1/2 the class with fav student groups

Shauna is absolutely incredible as a teacher and mentor. She goes well above and beyond to ensure her students are not only successful but also cares about their well being. Shauna will always take time to meet a student one on one and will work as much as is needed to ensure the student leaves her presence better off than when they met her.
