Comment:

Amazing teacher, very funny, inspirational, lots of homework but not hard just time consuming. Make sure to do homework and all of it. It's very hard to pass without doing the homework. Tests and quizzes are on lecture and homework. Almost exact. Participation is huge.

Comment:

I love Colomer-Flores. She is a tough grader- if you leave one connect assignment incomplete it's difficult to get an A. Would be a difficult class if you didn't take Spanish in high school, but if you didn't just be sure to ask questions for clarification. Tests are what she lectures on, and they're just like the homework. Overall, a fun class.

Good for Spanish 1 and 2. Don't take for Spanish 10 or 11. Her tests are difficult and spontaneously announced. My worst memory is when we wasted an entire week doing little to nothing in class, no homework or anything, Thursday comes around and suddenly announces a test the next day conjugating words in about in all indicative and subjective forms

This professor really made you work for your grade. I definitely would take her again! She made me stay on top of the lessons. And participation was a big one for this class. Lectures were fun never boring.

She's funny sweet and patient. Im taking her for span 2 this semester. Shes very helpful and likes to push students to do their best. a way to pass is to DO YOUR HOMEWORK. Homework is the most crucial especially the ones online. do your homework and know your stuff and you'll do just fine. Shes awesome. if you're reading this. you should take her.

I love this teacher she is so sweet, funny, and patient. Learning a new language is hard, but if you study, listen to class lectures, and DO YOUR HOMEWORK, this class will be a breeze. Beware test are tough though, you have to know your stuff. Other then that, I would definitely take her class again. She's the best!!!!

The class takes effort. She does give lots of homework, but it's not difficult and she goes above and beyond to help students out when they need it. She is the 3rd Spanish instructor I've had at MJC and she's my favorite.

I love this teacher, total sweet heart. All u have to do is study. she gives labs that are online, and workbook asignments and sometimes textbk assignments but usually asks if she is going too fast or slow loves her job encourages to speak spanish in class the class always works together and is a comfortable atmosphere

funny, kind, and passionate about spanish. You'll learn a lot, but be on your a game. I walked in knowing spanish, but fell behind on my buys work. the class is 5 units. It weights heavy on your gpa. DONT play around.

Great Teacher! she's very helpful and paitent, and she really cares. class participation is HUGE. she also gives a lot of group and partner work which is helpful. if you do the work, and pay attention you'll pass no prob. she speaks less english as the semister goes on so be prepared, but she will explain anything you don't understand.

She is very sweet and really knows what she's doing. If you do all your work you'll pass no problem. Use what's in the work book as well as your notes to study for tests and you'll be fine. Some times she talks fast but she'll slow down if you tell her. She DOES speek less english as the semister goes on so you really have to pay close attention!
