Comment:

The wording on her tests are confusing & a lot of people would go up to her to ask her what she meant by certain words. She will pretty much tell you whats on the test the class before. There are only 2 tests and a dance critique which make up your entire grade, so theres no room to mess up. Despite all that, if you study you should get an A.

Takes Attendance. I got an A, but I was annoyed most of the time. You have to listen very carefully because you have to take notes by ear and she talks really fast sometimes. On the exams there were questions that we never discussed in class and I had to think what would the professor say. You have two exams and one essay.

Attendance is taken in every class. 2 test and 1 essay (dance critque). Essay is an easy A, I didn't even go to the recital and wrote BS. Must take notes in every class because everything she says will be on the exam.

I'm not a dance major so I just took this as a GE class. Pretty easy - watch movies and discuss dancing with her guided notes. The tests were a little tricky because she chooses to word things a little weird (material is easy so she has to make it hard somehow..) Takes attendance every day. NEVER REPLIES TO EMAILS - unhelpful.

I really love her. I have learned so much from this class. Its best to make yourself stand out because then she will love you. She's so positive and appreciates so much and is so passionate about dance that it's contagious!! Make sure to study hard for the tests because she actually does take them seriously. Only 2 exams and one essay!

This class is a win/lose situation. The content is easy, 2 tests & a critique of a dance concert, but Nunn is a tad annoying. The class is long and boring and she pays a lot of attention to the dance majors in class. She's pretty eccentric. I'm very interested in dance but i just did not like this class. DONT BUY THE BOOK! miss 3 classes=auto. FAIL

Melissa Nunn is awesome! very sweet lady. She is loopy and crazy..some people may see that as bad, but this is what I love about her. She is very knowledgeable about dance and is a beautiful artist. Very helpful and supportive.

She teaches well but grades unfair. I Went to every class and did very good on the midtern and final and only got a B. She has class favorites. I took this class to relax but I am more stress now about getting an unfair grade.

This class was very easy, I have never done modern before but still got an A. She doesn't expect everyone to be perfect adn is very fair. overall fun class, just go to class and attend two concerts. The midterm and final are just easy dances. She's a pretty good instructor!

Great class! I really enjoyed myself! No outside work, you just need to see 2 dance shows. midterm and final are VERY easy, you just dance. She's really fun and nice. I recommend this class.

Super easy, had her for a few classes now, and she's passionate about her work. Thinks she can turn everyone into a dance major. Wishful thinking I guess. I missed most classes and didn't write any of the papers and I passed with a C. Tests are super easy. Common sense and straight from lecture.

Do not get this teacher!I went to every class and you have to write down notes from her lecturing and she talks way too fast to take good notes.She doesn't make anything clear and the tests are hard if you have no prior dance experience.Do not get this teacher,the other one is much better and easier
