I had Mack for two classes. He had a TA who mostly did all the work. She was very helpful. We had quizzes and movies. The class was easy but the TA made is much more challenging. Our grades were pretty truthful but do participate and speak up. Get on his good side and dont BS him.

Comment:

Very passionate. Just wants you to grasp the main ideas. No homework just one presentation and a mid term. Is late often and strays from the topic but if you show interest in the subject he will shoe interest and give you a 4.0. Nice, smart guy. Loves his black people.

This class does not even qualify as education. Previous comments about not buying the books and just needing to know the basics (not specifics, mind you!) about the Constitution are most certainly true. Going to this class was only worth it to get the easy "A" and to mock Murray behind his back.

Very unclear, in both his standards and his curriculum. Loves what he does, but too much to be open to what his students have to say. Easy A, but it was almost not worth the frusteration of trying to learn in the kind of class that is only understood by the teacher. Didn't learn very much at all.

This guy is nuts. You really don't need the book - just get a copy of the Constitution somewhere - and the Black History Month calendar - that sneaks up on you. He grades by competency & not work but he has his own idea about what competency is. Speak up, sound relatively smart but mostly regurgitate exactly what he says and you'll get a 4.0.

If you want the easiest A in your life, take him. If you want to actually learn something, then stay far away. Possibly the laziest teacher at SCCC. Don't buy the books and expect to leave class early everyday. Just BS your way through the class.

This guy doesnt know english. He's a smart man, but he should not be a teacher. By far the worst teacher I have yet to have. His tests are a joke... If you can figure out what he's asking (he wont clarify) you'll do fine. And don't buy the book... we used it twice-for the constitution. Not worth it. Avoid this teacher, although it's easy A.
