Comment:

Everything is online, all homework, quizzes and exams. Every answer is found on Quizlet or Chegg. Even though you have 4 homeworks/quizzes a week, it sounds like a lot but its easy. Take an hour once a week and do it. You go to class and sit there and do nothing, everything is online so going is pointless but he takes attendance. Easy class.

Comment:

A great professor. He's one of the few that actually uses Mylab as a tool and not as a substitution for teaching. All homework and tests are online. Tests after every 2 chapters so you don't have to remember too much of it at once. Tests are lengthy but doable. Mandatory attendance. Personable guy. Speak up in class and lectures won't be as boring.

Comment:

Batra is a great guy and professor! His lecture may be a bit on the boring side but he explains things so well and is a fun professor to listen to. All assignments were online except for a few assignments we had to bring to class. He drops two of your attendances. The only bad thing I would say is that the tests (6 of them online) are 50% of grade.

The class overall is super easy but class time is very boring. There are no tests and all weekly quizzes and assignments are on d2l. He only allows you to miss 2 class before points get taken off, so if you go to class and do all work then this is an easy A class.

Tests are terrible, they're 40 questions in 40 minutes. His lectures are useless. You could not show up to class at all and get the same grade as if you did, but attendance is mandatory. I would never take him again. If you have a choice DO NOT TAKE HIM FOR 320.

Grades are based on weekly D2L quizzes and assignments. There were no tests and no final, which helped to spread out the workload. Easy enough if you put in the time. He will often call people out for using phones and once went off on a 20 minute lecture about academic integrity when someone double-signed the attendance sheet, so keep that in mind.

Very easy professor. No need to buy text book. You take weekly "quizes" on d2l that have 45 questions. No midterm no final. Attendance is mandatory. The only thing there is to do, is one presentation in a group with 4 people.He's very helpful and easy to reach! He mentioned facetiming, skping, and texting students to make for easier communication!!

Really nice guy. The lecture may be a little dry at times, but he really cares about his students and is WAY more interested in their opinions than any other professor I've ever had. He treated us like equals, not annoying kids, and I really appreciated that. I would definitely recommend him.

Fairly good professor. I attended class and it paid off. I thought for sure I was going to get a C in the class, but ended up with a B in the end. He is a very fair professor and I would take him again. He drops the lowest 2 quiz grades.

Dr.Batra is a cool teacher, do all your assignments come to class and do well on your quizzes and there's no reason you shouldn't get at least a B. Very Fair and helpful and the good thing is there's no test in his classes just all quizzes.. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND him.

This class was really bad. I had to force myself to go. Attendance was manditory and if you missed 2 classes by the midterm he wouldn't let you take it. 3 misses was automatic failure. Alot of presentations and he generally had very nasty and emabarassing remarks when giving his critique after the presentations.Take someone else or another class

Online Self Marketing: too much reading and work for a one credit online course. Prof is helpful but requires a mock interview and portfolio packet that is laser-printed on resume paper.It's fairly easy but I would only recommend this if you enjoy wasting time on busy work.

I had this professor for an online course, and a few assignments did not get thru the webct to him. I sent him 3 assignments a week after they were due because I did not have a grade on them yet. I found out they didn't get posted. Now he is taking me to the dean because he thinks I violated the academic integrity policy. DO NOT TAKE THIS GUY!!

Very bad class. He begins each lecture as if he wants to go home. His classes are long and extremely boring. The final project is too long and completely inappropriate for a basic level class. The only thing I learned here was vocabulary.

Not a bad lecturer, but he doesn't test you on anything he talks about. Kind of hard to understand.
