Honestly one of my worst profs. I had to work hard for a class that seemed like it should be easy. She tends to ramble on about the unimportant points which was frustrating. Her grading was terrible, very unclear and looking for specific words to give you points and wouldn't explain why you are wrong. Give very unclear feedback when asked.

There is no textbook, but she posts modules which include questions that you have to search for in websites that she provides. She rambles a lot, if she stuck to the point and was more concise, the lecture time would be cut in half. many guest lecturers. This year the exam wasnt open book and it was fair. Study from lecture slides and case studies.

No textbook but expecting precise answers in short answers, will takes off points without comments so u cant improve. Modules unrelated to class content. Many guest lecturers. Rude, when asked questions related to exam says to take it to McGill if not happy with grade Confused Disorganized. Hates BNIs. Unrelated class subjects throughout semester.

really? I got a 4.0 no problem last year. These students are just mad because she doesnt spoon feed you. All I did was actually spend time DOING the modules she posted and not just asking, will this be on exam... She is approachable, yes a little rambling but the material is not rocket science. Just read and work on what she says and you'll do fine

Yes, her ppts are sometimes unclear or long, but her case scenarios really make you think. If you talk with her after class, she is extremely useful. Just be prepared to be there a short while: she likes to talk a lot. VERY helpful as a general nursing resource person.
