Msal is just awful at running a class. She obviously knows what she's talking about, but the structure of her classes don't allow for any helpful insight. The class was 5 chapters ahead of her lectures on homework, and she just sped up lectures rather than slowing homework. Worst experience in physics I have ever had.

Msall is a decent teacher. Outside of class she is very sweet and understanding about problems such as illness or getting a paper in on time. However, her classes are rather, well, VERY boring. Personally, I would not recommend her as a teacher for physics

Msall is an excellent physicist, but an incompetent teacher. She is also unwilling to adjust her schedule to fit reality. Her abrasive reactions to approaching her outside of class make learning impossible. Avoid taking classes with her if possible.
