Comment:

Failed calc 2 my first time taking it, and wasn't confident I could pass the second time around due to the difficult material presented. Professor Macon simplified calc 2 to the best of his abilities and actually cared about his student's questions and ability to grasp the subject. Mandatory HW made sure my lazy butt practiced and did well.

I am a none traditional student. I hadn't been in an educational setting in 15 years, professor Macon made my transition very easy. Great communicator, willing to help. If you do the none mandatory homework you will pass. I enjoyed his teaching style no pressure. Great Professor, I highly recommend having him as an instructor.

Possibly one of the most chillest, informative, and kind math professor out there. He makes math enjoyable and simple to understand. Really down to earth guy and he's funny too.

Really fun and easy class, pretty much an easy A if you just do the homework. On the tests, you are allowed to use a graphing calculator, which pretty much gives you the answer to the question. Tests are so easy that you don't even have to study. Took the College Algebra class.

Replies to emails/messages promptly, does what he can to help you understand the material. 4 chapter exams, with a review exam for each, which you can take as many times as you want by the due date. You can also redo homework questions until you get the score you want. If I had to take another math class, I would definitely go with this prof.

I took his College Algebra class online. His online lectures explain the subject very easily. He gives 4 exams, which have to be taken at the testing center, but he gives you a test review which you can retake over and over. The tests are sometimes easier than the reviews. He allows you to bring an index card with notes for the tests.

Hands down one of the best calculus teachers around. He lets you use notecards in the exams and always makes sure your are ready for them. Tale him if you want to excel

Easy Class. The material may be a bit difficult if math isn't your thing, but he his policies make getting an A easy. Homework can be retaken until you get 100. Same with reviews. Test must be taken at testing center but were always easier than the reviews. No text book needed, but need access code.

Professor was very polite and caring. I took this course online, and he always responded to my emails in a timely manner. His online lecture videos are very helpful. There are 2 assignments due every week, and 4 practice quizzes and exams. Exams have to be taken at a testing center, but they're almost exactly like the practice quiz.

He is an excellent professor, the class is VERY HARD trust me, but if you really study for the tests and you do your homework you will pas. There is 4 test plus the final (100 points each test) and activities/Homework(100 points), 600 points in total. He also let you use notecards for each test.

College Algebra online: 2 homework assignments on MyMathLab a week which you could do until you get a 100%. 4 tests which had to be taken on campus but each had a review that was very helpful and there was no midterm or final. He has plenty of resources for an online class. Easy A but I'm good at math. HW's add up to equal 1 test. Great professor!

Nice prof, math is not my subject but he is willing to answer all my questions and help in and out of class, even when I email him for help :) the class is set up pretty simple, he really is a nice professor who is more than willing to help and answer questions, btw the textbook is online (as of rn) I just wished he offered extra credit!

I've had to take a whole lot of math at Valencia, a total of 7 classes and all my professors have been great in one way or another but he tops the bunch. Taking him for my Calc 2 class and he's just great. Very clear instructions, cares about what he does and tests make sense. Allows a single index card for notes on tests which helps those blanks

This man is incredible. An honest to god wonderful human being. I was going through some really hard times during this semester, but he encouraged me to stay in the course and I managed to make it. He makes the material easy to grasp & I promise the fungeon isn't too bad. ;)

Professor Macon was great! He was always super helpful, and really cared about his students. I took a hybrid stats course with him. It took work to keep my A, but it was not impossible. If you care about your grade, and you try, you will succeed. I would take him again in a heartbeat! Great class. )

Took online. Material is tough, not necessarily the class. Everything is in mymathlab. Allows you to retake homework until 100%. Allows you to correct some test and quiz errors for partial credit. On top of book and mymathlab tutorials, professor does youtube videos explaining the material. responds to email quickly. very accommodating. good prof.
