Very frazzled and disorganized. Doesn't keep on track with projects very well. Doesn't coordinate with other teacher. Constantly giving suggestions but ends up being much more confusing than helpful. Said in the first class that it is normal to walk out of class not knowing what's going on. All over the place. Like her as a person, not a teacher.

If you put in the effort and show up to class with your assignments on time, you should be fine. Jane is extremely knowledgable and though she can seem strict at times, she's actually hilarious. She makes innapropriate jokes that crack me up! She can have favorites, so stay on her good side. If you want to learn, take this class, it's worth it.

Madeline is a hilarious genius. Her brain works in crazy ways and she'll try to make your ideas really far out and because of that makes you a much more conceptual artist. Her feedback is weird and fantastic. She is a tough grader, but it's definitely worth it to take the class. SHE'S AWESOME! She deserves WAY more credit than she's given.

The MOST disorganised teacher I had last semester. Do NOT take her class unless you are up for a hot mess. She talks forever about the most pointless things and I do not appreciate her work ethic. She comes to class to teach video making on Premier but does not even know half of what she is supposed to teach us. Also quite rude and too frantic.

She's on cloud 9, completely scatterbrained, horrible at explaining things which is basically what a teacher does?? Always all over the place and bad at explaining projects. She'll try to offer you different ideas which are some of the most far out things you'll ever hear.. not helpful, don't take her unless you can deal with confusing

DO NOT TAKE HER. I have nothing good to say about this woman. She talks forever about nothing,contradicts herself, and when she explains things it ALWAYS leaves you more confused than before you asked her. She gives heaps of homework too.

VERY disorganized. Somewhat egotistical. Hardly allowed input from other professor in class. Did not take criticism easily from students. VERY MUCH like her sister who also teaches at Parsons. OVERALL not a great teacher. Will base grade based on what she thinks of your personality, and not what you put into class. Many efforts gone unnoticed.

i had her 5 yrs ago, but i still remember her so well and what she taught then stayed with me through out. she's so full of energy she really cant draw a straight line, but she really knew what she was doin. i thought she was enthusiastic about teaching. at times her class gets confusing, but she's one of those teachers u could talk to about it.

she can't seem to sit still which gets irritating. the class may seem pointless, but she knows what shes talking about and has the best intentions. she really cares about what students learn, even though she may appear neurotic and unstable, listen to what she says, its worth something

She can be a really good teacher at times, but then sometimes, oh man watch out! It can be a really good day in class, or a hellish day. But in the end I learned, and thats why I am in school. And she does say alot, Its find of genius.

Scared me senseless at first, but now she's okay. Sometimes she's just too out there though--too artsy. Frequently says it's really sort of beautiful, it's really kind of fabulous.
