His lectures were very very boring but he's a cool guy. He's very kind and smart and the class is easy to pass. The tests are fair and it's an easy A as long as you do the big paper based on his own book.

10 page paper on a book he wrote that wasn't very well written and hard to follow - his lectures are engaging and not boring, he's funny, charismatic, knowledgable about many different things and you can tell he loves his students. tests are difficult even if you pay attention in class he doesn't cover everything on exams. he gives a chance for e.c

He's not a bad professor but his lectures are not very clear, he dictates everything and rarely uses the board. A 10-12 page paper is required, otherwise you will not pass. Tests are hard, especially because he doesn't cover all the material on it. He gives the test questions at the end of a lecture as you are getting closer to the date of the test

He's an okay teacher, just don't mess around in his class. He assigns a min. of 10 pages on a book he wrote, which wasn't cheap. You'll also buy a textbook, that you don't need. He gives you midterm and final questions verbally, but won't repeat them. He spends most of the class time off topic and it's really hard to stay focused on the subject.

I have mixed feelings on this professor. He spends a lot of class time preaching about corruption and capitalism. I find it ironic that he has you get a book that he wrote and it's not cheap. I find that to be corrupt. This man is making a lot of money off the breaking backs of the working community college students. Capitalism at its finest

100% all about attendance. Make sure you show up and do your work. Simple as that. Only two exams for the semester; both of which he tells you about half of the questions verbatim from the test itself in the weeks leading up to the exam. Write your term paper, make flashcards to study, show up and you'll be fine. He's an overall decent professor.

At first I thought he was great. Then I hated him. Then I thought he was ok again. A LOT of work: 2-5 page papers. A 30 page portfolio. Two multiple choice tests. He's retiring soon. I would suggest taking him be he goes. Although I would not take him again, to arrogant 4 me. I did, however, learn a ton about the Caribbean. Great class.

Not a bad teacher but goes off topic a lot. If youre anything but a Democrat he will make you feel very uncomfortable. Kind of high on him self but not that hard of a class.

Someone who's ready to graduate and follow their life goals will benefit from his classes. He's got the knowledge and the bank account. If you're looking to take it easy, take his classes. If you need a challenge, take his classes. You'll leave a better person.

Gosine is not a great teacher. He spends the entire class time talking about life instead of what the test was on. He doesn't really teach or take notes so in order to really do good, you have to read the textbook and take notes yourself. I don't recommend him

Doctor Gosine is an all around great person. Only graded works were a midterm, final, and term paper (12 pages). He is a very intelligent and funny guy. He gave a super inspirational speech at the end of the semester about being a good person and I will never forget it. Great guy, but don't you dare touch your phone/sleep during class!!

Professor. Gosine is a great man with great respect for others. He not only teaches students how to succeed in his class but in the real world as well. Great Great Professor!!!!
