She is truly an amazing professor. She cares about all of her students deeply and she really breaks down how to do the math. She is extremely helpful and wants you to understand the content, not just pass. If you need to take a math and this is an option, do it. You just have to show up and listen.

Dr. Simin is so sweet, energetic, and has so many great stories. I think she makes math fun, especially when we get to color! She also always willing to help.

In the beginning of the year we didnt get along so well but I sat down with her and had a conversation about my struggles in her class and she accommodated me accordingly and fairly . Yes, this class is a bit difficult but all it takes to pass is communication and effort.

Dr. Simin is a wonderful professor. She truly cares about her students and everyone she meets. She is the sweetest person, which is portrayed in her teaching. We used a manual that she created, which saved money on a book, and suited the class perfectly. The class is very simple but also eye-opening for education majors!

Dr. Simin is an outstanding prof. for Math 102. The 1st day she will try to weed out the students who don't want to put work in by saying how her class isn't for everyone, and she is very strict on attendance. However, she will lighten up and become a favorable prof. within the first few weeks. She can be picky on tests, but she does it to help you

She is a wonderful professor! I had her for two other courses besides this course. If you are an education major, she will definitely help you relate basic math concepts to how it is taught to students. She always is willing to help you no matter what. In my opinion she is the best math professor at Lock Haven University.

This class was pretty intense, not necessarily in learning new things but you have to do the work her way. She is a nice lady though and is happy to help, make sure you do homework as she sometimes uses students homework as examples.

I took precalc online with Dr. Simin and it was an easy class. I'm not very good at math but by doing all the homework and looking at examples, I got an A. Simin would always go back through tests and give back points for small errors, which was nice. She also dropped the lowest homework grade and quiz grade!

Burkett was very helpful if you went to her or asked her questions in class. She explains things very well, and will keep going over it until the class understands. She can be a ditz at times but shes gorgeous.

Absolutely loved this class and Dr. Burkett. I love math, so it came easily. She is a very helpful teacher. She doesn't have a textbook, she just prints the stuff out and you buy it from her.

Math does not come easily to me but she is a good professor. It's not really hard just a little confusing at times.She moves through things pretty quickly so make sure you pick it up or get help.No book for this class only 4 tests and you can retake your lowest score for the final. As much as i hate math i did enjoy her class!

Dr. Burkett's class was so easy. I do not know how anyone could fail. It's elementary math! She was good at going over problems step-by-step so even if you had no idea about what was going on she was telling you how to do it step-by-step. The hw isn't mandatory but it is great practice if you don't understand.

Her Number Systems class is pretty easy, she does a lot of group work. But make sure you go to class, she takes attendance and it will hurt your grade if you don't. And don't tick her off, she seems overly nice at first like shes putting on a front. She reminds me of Nancy Pelosi in the way she acts.
