I agree. This negative post must be by a disgruntled student who just expects a good grade handout and not work for it. I took Dr. Wahab for FIN310 and I learned alot. He doesn't read off powerpoint, and lectures very clearly. His lectures are very crisp. You just have to attend to learn beyond what is in the book. Great guy all around.

You must have done very poorly in class. If you attend Dr. Wahab's classes, you will do well. If you don't attend it is your fault. May be you should take school seriously before complaining like a little kid. Dr. Wahab is one of the best professors at Barney. Its your fault if you dont learn because you dont attend. Grow up.

Will lecture the whole time and fill up boards multiple times over. Talks too fast and writes very messy. Impossible to really listen and retain info in class. You are on your own. Can be very rude and hostile.

I would avoid at all costs. He has slowly gotten worse over time. I didnt have an option but to take him but try man. Try! He said that there was 3 hr for the exam in class and email then it was only 1 hr 30 min. It also included questions that wasnt covered in the class. I think it was to punish the class bc students stopped coming to class.

I dont know who these people are talking about. Maybe he was that mythical person but he isnt now. He got more and more rude and condescending during the semester as students stopped coming to class. I dont blame them bc either you come and dont learn or you dont and dont lean. He has become so hostile that it is impossible to participate.

Literally the easiest class you will ever take. He gives you the notes (word for word with his lectures) and does not take attendance. No need to show up. Entire grade is three online exams that you take at home and the answers are online. Just know when the exams are and you're good.

The class isn't difficult if you show up. However, Wahab rude and condescending. Claimed that I missed the final when I worked very hard to complete it and refused to work with me. Told me to be grateful that he didn't fail me.... Overall the class is fine but pick a different professor.

Took him in Summer Session 1, told us to return the book, only two exams (10-12 questions each) that were open note & take home. Plus he typed all the lecture notes so all you had to do was print them & write on them in class! Super easy course & I hated finance. Also super engaging and laid back, all around great guy!

Great handwriting skills, clear, works with class... but seems irritated with lack of class participation. Makes it little uncomfortable to answer questions, then complains that no one is answering... a lot of dumb people in that class, have to learn to accept that.

Dr wahab is a very good soft spoken teacher. Well criticizing such a good teacher as Wahab is stupid. And picking on him for not using excel or powerpoint is just dumb. So many barney teachers don't use excel or powerpoint but still are good teachers. HE himself is a very knowledgeable teacher, why should he be dependent on books and excel?

Not a bad person, just not a great teacher. Stubborn about adapting course to modern methods used in the real world (Excel). 'Ivory tower' approach to teaching, at times outright condascending. Material is difficult if you're not a 'finance person' already and professor does not assign homework, book problems don't compare to actual test questions.

prof wahab is a great teacher..i have never seen him degrading or yelling at a student,in comparison to some other stuck up teachers in barney school. He is a very quiet man, and he does answer your questions in a very polite way. Well u are not in high school anymore so why should Dr wahab provide u with powerpoint presentations lol..i love him!
