Professor Haruta is an awesome person. She's very willing to help and she has a lot going on but seems to handle us with a lot grace. Fair warning though, you HAVE TO put in the work to get an A. You have to want it. You can't skip class And you can't avoid the homework. The actual material isn't bad though. Do all the work, don't fall behind.

The only reason I passed this is because I took calc 1 in high school. She runs a flipped class and you teach yourself everything you basically are taking an online course that you wake up and take quizzes and tests for.

Calc 1 and 2 w Professor Haruta has been a great learning experience because of the structure of the class & content. I have never done this well in a math course in my entire life so I am very grateful for the skills I have learned. It actually feels like I've gained a superpower! Very inspirational, caring, sweet. Easily the professor ever.

An excellent professor. As long as you show up and put in the effort, you will do well in her class. If you ask her for help she is always willing to as long as it isn't disrupting the class. The videos seem like a drag but those are more of a "this is what we will learn in class" type of deal, I strongly recommend her.

I don't recommend her at all. You have to learn everything by yourself. She provides some good videos but when she give you a hard homework's that you can't answer. Expect a concept check after every video. If you are an international student, she probably gonna hate from the minute that you enter her class. I DON'T RECOMMEND HER!!!

Great professor. If you pay much attention, you can pass this class. Participation isn't particularly necessary, but is recommended (you learn a lot of different problems that way). Was accommodating for me (I'm just a high school student taking classes there) for when I could not make it. Notes are posted online, and the webwork is simple. 910

hated how tech-based the class was. shes is very nice and helpful when you have questions, but doesn't teach the material. the book isnt very helpful in helping to understand the material; there are very few example problems. the material should be easy if you remember things taught to you 3+ years ago unlike myself. class was kind of a bummer.
